We always have lovely cats looking for loving homes. Because we’re only able to update this page once a week (on average), it’s possible there may be new arrivals at the Sanctuary not listed here. Please call 01284 388455 for information on new cats or kittens or any listed here.
Each cat is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped before being re-homed. To cover these costs, and food whilst the cat is with us, we ask for a minimum £40 donation for one cat or kitten, and minimum £50 donation for two or more cats or kittens.
•For indoor cats we prefer that they have access to a safe and secure outside area.
•We occasionally have stable/farm cats available.
•We may insist on a home check before you can re-home a cat.
•We only home cats and kittens to permanent UK residents within the catchment area shown on our home page.
Details of kittens and our foster scheme for older cats, or those with illnesses, can be found below.

We sometimes produce posters to highlight certain appeals or cats looking for homes. When available, posters will be shown here for supporters to download and print for displaying in our catchment area in windows, shops , veterinary practices etc. Please note, monthly posters are not always available due to the high success rate of re-homing cats at the Sanctuary.
Postcards are always available to download for notice boards etc to raise awareness of the Sanctuary.
When displaying any of our downloads, please ensure that you are not breaking any laws and have permission from the relevant person.

We don’t always have kittens available but when they are with us, they are booked quickly! Therefore, we don’t always list details here so if you are interested in a kitten please call 01284 388455 for availability.
We often have many lovely young cats available so please consider these too and visit the rest of the re-homing section to see if any of our other cats are suitable.
To enable them to live happy and fulfilling lives in later years, some older cats are available under our fostering scheme - we cover vet bills (some exclusions apply) and you provide general care, a fireside, armchair and TLC. The cat lives with you but because they remain our responsibility, we can only foster within a maximum 15 miles radius of Bury St. Edmunds. Foster cats must visit designated vets in Bury St. Edmunds, Newmarket, Haverhill or Long Melford. Cats available for homing as part of this scheme are shown on the website with the symbol above.

Marvin came to the Sanctuary because his owner sadly passed away. He is a very nice boy who enjoys being made a fuss of. He doesn’t mind being picked up for cuddles.
