There are a lot of ways you can help us continue our work.  This page details monetary ways, some of which cost you nothing at all!  Please also take a look at our volunteering page if you are interested in giving your time as there are lots of ways you can help us without actually donating.

We would like to thank all of you who have helped in any way.  Due to the large number of people contributing we do not have the resources available to thank everyone individually but we really appreciate your help.

After last year’s success we will again be selling knitted dog coats this winter.

Standard styles are £5, bespoke designs are £5 plus the cost of wool – please call

Shirley Murrell on 01284 763877 with details of colour/style and measurements

(neck to base of tail and width around tummy).

We now have some Bury Stray Cat Fund shopping bags for sale. They are very good quality

bags and can be purchased from the Sanctuary for £5.

We are always grateful to receive margarine tubs, plastic/polystyrene trays, blankets, carpet off-cuts, sheets, towels and your old woollies.  We can put them all to good use.

We are always happy to receive bric-a-brac for our fundraising events.

We have a collection point at:

Sainsbury’s, Bedingfield Way, Bury St. Edmunds, IP32 7BT

We have monthly posters showing some of our available cats, special appeal posters

and postcards that are displayed locally in shops and vets.  If you are able to help

with displaying any of these within our catchment area please see the rehoming

page to download them.

Use our search facility below and money will automatically be donated to us - it doesn’t cost you a penny!  Alternatively why not visit our search page and make it your home page.

If you do any shopping online you could raise funds for us by registering at www.easyfundraising.org.uk.  Over 500 popular online retailers now donate a percentage of your sale to charity at no extra cost to you.  Click on the banner below for more details.

As a charity we rely on donations to keep the Sanctuary running.  Click on the banner below to donate at our secure page. If you would like your donation to be used for a specific purpose please enter one of the following in the comments field: Food, Vet Bills, Maintenance.  Also, if you are a UK tax payer don’t forget to tick the Gift Aid box as we can claim an extra 28p for every £1 you donate (without it costing you any extra).

We have recently seen a dramatic drop in the number of people in our membership scheme.  As we rely on people’s support and donations this is of great concern to us.  Becoming a member is great way to show your support and hear more about the goings on at the Sanctuary.  Membership entitles you to 2 free Newsletters every year and voting rights at our Annual General Meeting as well us helping us by funding our activities. Membership costs just £10 per person per annum (£7.50 for senior citizens).  Click HERE to download an application form.

Coming Soon - Pay for your membership online!

Our foster cats can be sponsored to help with the cost of housing, feeding and caring for the cat. You will receive a photograph, a letter and a Christmas card from the cat.

If you are interested in sponsoring one of our cats please click HERE to download an application form.

Coming soon - adopt one of our foster cats by purchasing one of our Cat Adoption Packs.  The pack will contain a cuddly cat toy, information sheets on the Sanctuary and your cat, and other BSCF goodies.  You will also receive 2 newsletters and updates from your adopted cat.
